Cost-effective and high-resolution 5-inch touch displays

Inelco Hunter has introduced a new 5-inch touch display featuring IPS technology, with a Digital 24-bit RGB Interface, RTP Touch, and a backlight of 300 nits. This cost-effective display is ideal for applications such as smart home control panels, vending machines, and measurement devices.

The 5-inch TFT display features a resolution of 800 (RGB) × 480 dots, a full viewing angle, a transmissive normally black screen, and 300 cd/m² brightness. It has an operating temperature range of -20C to +70C with a rated lifetime of 20,000 hours (MTBF) at standard conditions. The thickness is a mere 3.1mm, and the display is powered by an ST7265 driver IC, delivering robust performance. In addition to home and commercial applications, other application areas include industrial control, transportation, and more.

The display is also available as a PCAP touchscreen version, featuring a robust, durable glass surface that is highly resistant to scratches. The surface can be easily cleaned, making it excellent for applications such as medical instruments where hygiene is paramount.
