Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the QM30VT3 3-axis vibration sensors from Banner Engineering. The vibration sensors provide real-time data and alerts that maintenance teams need to detect machine failures early, decrease downtime, and avoid costly repairs. The sensors are a flexible solution for industrial automation, predictive maintenance across various industries and equipment types, and condition monitoring and diagnostics.
The sensors simplify predictive maintenance with precise, real-time diagnostics, enabling teams to take action before problems escalate. Built-in VIBE-IQ machine learning automatically establishes baselines and alert thresholds while eradicating the necessity for an external gateway or controller processing. The sensors feature high-resolution, three-axis sensing to capture a complete picture of machine health and advanced signal processing to detect developing mechanical issues quickly.
With a wide frequency range, the sensors detect faults ranging from shaft misalignment in conveyor motors to gear mesh impacts in high-speed gearboxes. For specialised applications, users can access the time waveform and FFT datasets, as well as the frequency maximum (FMax) and High-Frequency Enveloping (HFE) tools. The QM30VT3 3-axis vibration sensors are compact, durable, and effortlessly integrated into Modbus networks.
The sensors are provided in two variants. The QM30VT3-MQP features an aluminium housing with an IP67 ingress rating. The QM30VT3-SS-MQP features a 316L stainless steel housing with an environmental rating of IP69K per DIN 40050-9. These industrial-grade sensors deliver durability in the harshest conditions, from factory floors to remote installations.
