FORTEC United Kingdom announces the upcoming release of the IPPC-5500-ADL0-WG00-1001 from Litemax, a robust 55" industrial panel PC designed to fulfil the needs of modern transport infrastructure. Based on the IPPD-5500-9131 high-brightness display, this new panel PC delivers embedded computing, rugged durability, and edge processing capability – ideal for smart mobility, EV charging, and semi-outdoor passenger information systems.

Demo units of the device will be available to order in July 2025, providing customers the opportunity to evaluate this powerful, integrated solution for their next-generation projects.

The device builds on the company's proven 55" platform, delivering ultra-clear 2500-nit brightness in Full HD (1920x1080), making it excellent for outdoor visibility. Housed in a full IP56-rated aluminium enclosure with 5mm anti-glare cover glass, it is engineered to withstand rain, dust, and harsh conditions commonly found in transport and roadside environments.

At its core is the Intel Atom x7425E 3.4GHz Quad-Core processor, featuring a 12W TDP, backed by 4GB of DDR4 memory and 128GB of storage. This combination delivers powerful multitasking and fast local processing, essential for edge-based analytics, system monitoring, and interactive user engagement.

The IPPC-5500-ADL0 inherits its display pedigree from the successful IPPD-5500-9131, a model widely deployed across transport and EV infrastructure. By incorporating embedded computing, this additional model eradicates the necessity for separate hardware – streamlining installation and lowering system complexity.
