Schaffner has extended its ecosine evo line passive harmonic filter series. The product is evolving, combining superior technology to reliably alleviate excessive harmonics with an innovative modular concept, to satisfy customer demands.
The new filters FN 3440/41-250-119 and FN 3450/51-315-119 offer the same features as the existing series: dedicated version for drives with and without DC-link choke, obtaining 5% THDi @ rated power, minimal capacitive current @ partial load, offered in IP 00 and IP 20 enclosure, wall mounting, a compact design, and ready to use.
The filters guarantee compliance with the strictest demand of IEEE-519 and other rigorous international power quality standards. While utilising the filters, the electrical infrastructure is unburdened, and its usage is far more efficient and reliable. Moreover, the service life cycle of electrical equipment is increased, and energy costs can be decreased.
With this extension of the 50Hz filters, ecosine evo filters FN 3440/41 and FN 3450/51 are now offered with standard power ratings from 1.1kW to 250kW, and 1.1kW to 315kW, respectively. They are offered for drives with and without DC-link choke, in IP 00 or IP 20 enclosure. All the filters are CE-marked, UL listed and RoHS compliant.
