Available from Symmetry Electronics, Sensirion has unveiled the SCD40 and SCD41, an exciting upgrade to its SCD4x family, a highly accurate, reliable CO2 and humidity sensor modules. Replacing the now obsolete end-of-life (EOL) SCD42, developers can benefit from enhanced specifications, improved performance, and ease of integration, offering greater flexibility for precision environmental monitoring design applications.

The SCD40 has received several new feature upgrades to improve its performance and convenience, delivering precise CO2 measurements with an accuracy of ±(30ppm + 3% of reading), whereas the SCD41 provides accuracy of ±(20ppm + 5% of reading). Moreover, the SCD41 features an extended measurement range of up to 40,000ppm of CO2, while the SCD40 has a range of up to 10,000ppm. By pushing the boundaries of what is possible, the company continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing sensor technology and empowering industries to make data-driven decisions.
