High-brightness display with glove-touch has tough 3mm glass

Inelco Hunter now offers the new Powertip PH800480T030-ZHR06, a high-resolution, high-brightness, glove-touch 5" display featuring rugged 3mm screen glass.

The touch display is especially suited to outdoor environments where a bright, rugged screen is needed or where the user will wear gloves, such as hospital and factory settings.

The potential uses are huge and will include (but not limited to) industry, environment, energy, EV, medical and scientific applications.

Designed and manufactured to supply clear content, the display features a high-resolution 800 * 3 (RGB) * 480 Dots screen with a full viewing angle. The display is a transmissive type of touch screen, normally black, featuring a high brightness of 850cd/m2 when operating.

The display features a parallel RGB (data) interface with an SPI configuration. Its operating temperature range is -20C to +70C, and its lifetime is up to 50,000 hours (25C, IF= 200mA).
