JDIT-K has introduced a newly developed 15.6" industrial TFT display module. The JDIT-K TX40D202VM0BAA has full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, a 16:9 wide aspect ratio, and IPS display technology that facilitates excellent colour saturation and stable image performance.

The 15.6" TFT display delivers outstanding colour reproduction with deeply saturated colours, highly consistent image stability, strong contrast ratios and black levels combined with 176° viewing angles in all directions (up/down, left/right). IPS technology allows a broad colour gamut of 80% NTSC to be achieved.

Display images are bright, colourful and accurate, with a contrast ratio of 1200:1, a white LED backlight featuring a brightness specification of 1500cd/m², and a half-brightness lifetime of 70K hours. An integrated LED driver circuit enables a PWM input signal to provide easily controlled, flicker-free dimming from 0% to 100%.

Benson Huang, marketing manager of JDIT-K, said, "The new 15.6" TFT module provides the ideal display solution for use in outdoor applications, in-vehicle systems, marine vessels, and medical equipment. The optical performance and image characteristics ensure deeply saturated colours and high contrast display images can be easily viewed from all directions."

A 50-pin data interface supports dual-channel LVDS and 8-bit RGB, facilitating a colour palette of up to 16.7M colours. A wide operating temperature range of -30C to +85C is supported. The 15.6" display module has external mechanical dimensions of 367.86mm (l) x 219.51mm (h) x 14.71mm (d) and an active display area of 344.16mm (l) x 193.59mm (w).

Typical applications include EV charging stations, transportation systems, medical equipment, information kiosks and rugged tablets. The new 15.6" TX40D202VM0BAA and TX40D202VM0BAB (available without integrated LED driver circuit) TFT display modules are now available.
