Saelig Company, Inc now offers the Impact-D 1100A series, a rugged, powerful, small DIN rail mountable embedded computer designed by Amplicon. This important extension to their embedded computer range – Impact-D 100EL-A and Impact-D 1100A – provides new CPU and graphics performance levels with integrated IoT and AI features, real-time performance, security, manageability, and functional safety.

Providing the powerful 11th gen Intel Core Tiger Lake processor, the series benefits from its power-efficient quad-core SoC. With its low power draw and innovative technologies like Intel's TCC, the 1100A can run complex processing applications with ultra-low latency and fast cycle times. Developed for complex AI workloads and IoT edge applications, the computer features Intel Deep Learning Boost and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, making the system ideal for an expansive range of applications needing high-end graphics and complex computation right to the edge. The Impact-D 1100A provides a broad range of I/O and connectivity, satisfying the demanding needs of modern industrial applications. This comprises multiple serial ports, LAN, USB, Display port and HDMI. The addition of optional Wi-Fi and Cellular capabilities makes this unit IoT edge-ready and able to tackle the challenges of industry 4.0.

The Impact-D 100EL-A series is a powerful expansion to the Amplicon ATOM-based range of embedded computers. The new systems use Intel's high-performance Elkhart Lake processors, which are perfect for high processing edge applications that need ultra-low power performance in a small form factor. The new series has been developed to meet the challenges of edge computing, delivering more connectivity, more bandwidth, and higher levels of security.

Enhanced for workload consolidation and IoT-centric needs, the new systems come with Integrated IoT, AI and real-time capabilities. Key features include the Intel PSE, a dedicated offload engine for IoT functions, Intel TCC, TSN for real-time data transmission and Intel SI for functional safety.

With a wealth of I/O and Wi-Fi capability, the Impact-D 100EL-A provides seamless connectivity between remote IoT devices and wireless networks. The range of I/O ports incorporates three USBs, two RJ45 LANs and two RS232/422/485 with options for four extra RS323 COM ports.
