High-performance SMD fuses receive PSE-JET approval

SCHURTER product family types UMZ 250, UMF 250, UMK 250, according to IEC 60127-4 have obtained the Japanese PSE-Jet approval. The newly marked packaging will be rolled out the first week of April 2023, with date code 2314 or higher on the label.

The company offers a broad variety of circuit protection solutions for mounting directly on the circuit board. The fuse families UMF 250 and UMT 250 supply overcurrent and short circuit protection in primary and secondary circuits for various applications, including battery management systems, modems, lighting systems and power supplies.

The compact 3mm x 10.1mm SMD fuse series UMF 250 is rated 0.5A – 15A for voltages up to 250VAC and 125VDC, with a breaking capacity of up to 500A depending on current rating. The Time-Lag version UMT 250 is rated 0.08A-10A 250VAC/VDC with a breaking capacity of up to 200A. The range is complemented with two types, UMZ 250 and UMK 250, which comprise clips with pre-installed fuses for one-step installation. The clips allow for fuse replacement.
