MELF resistor now offers 0.3W power rating

MELF resistors are known for their excellent thermal characteristics and environmental and electrical stability. Many types of applications, including instrumentation and automation controls, automotive controls, and metering, benefit from the outstanding performance offered by MELF resistors. In designs where space is paramount, it is important to maximise the power ratings for the resistor to provide the smallest design footprint.

Stackpole Electronic’s MLFM15 supplies engineers with a solution that satisfies the thermal, electrical, and size needs. The resistor is a small device measuring just 2.2mm x 1.1mm nominal and now provides a 0.3W power rating for tolerances 0.5% and above and TCRs of 50ppm and higher. The MLF/ MLFM series is RoHS compliant without the requirement for exemption 7C-1.
