Pasternack offers a new line of 10, 25, 50 and 100W RF attenuators with operating frequencies up to 18GHz depending on the configuration.

The company now provides 31 high power, fixed attenuators which offer attenuation levels of 3dB, 6dB, 10dB, 20dB, 30dB and 40dB. Furthermore, in-series connector gender interfaces are offered in male-female configurations with SMA and Type-N connector options.

These new fixed RF attenuators possess power ratings of 10W, 25W, 50W or 100W and a peak power rating of 500W. The 10W and 25W versions feature bi-directional operation, while the 50W and 100W models support directional operation. Further features incorporate VSWR as low as 1.2:1, flat RF response and performance, and an RFI-resistant design.

The attenuators are constructed with black anodised aluminium heatsink bodies and are created with large cooling fins which assist in heat dissipation at high temperatures.

“These new high power RF attenuators are perfect for power limiting in both production and R&D applications, impedance matching, and signal levelling inside RF test systems. By offering a wide selection of off-the-shelf options, we are able to satisfy nearly every RF attenuation application,” said Steven Pong, product line manager.
