OKW’s CONNECT wired enclosures for medical electronics are offered now in three sizes.
The series is ideal for a variety of hospital applications incorporating remote control for beds and other equipment, patient monitoring and emergency call buttons.
Each ergonomic case includes two shells, giving an option of which plane to make the top. One shell is convex for comfortable handheld use, the other is flattened with a recessed panel to include a membrane keypad. They snap together with no screws required.
Open apertures at either end allow the installation of cable glands for cable ø3.4mm to ø5.9mm. The cable gland kits incorporate a strain relief feature.
End panels are offered to blank off any superfluous cutouts. These panels (and the flat sides) can be manufactured to accept USB connectors or LEDs. Four attachment pillars in the flat enclosure shell allow the simple mounting of a PCB.
CONNECT can be specified in three lengths: 76/116/156 x 54 x 22 mm. The enclosures are moulded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0).
