Contact socket assemblies and flat cables offer combination of unique configurations

Digi-Key is expanding its extensive 3M value added-assembly program with ready-to-install IDC assemblies constructed with the 158 socket series, a 2mm pitch connector system, and the 3625 series' round conductor flat cable featuring PVC insulation. Standard assemblies are available in 3" and 6" lengths and spans 10, 14, 16, and 20-signal contacts. Single- and double-ended assemblies are available. The 158 socket is a 2mm pitch ribbon cable to PCB interconnect consisting of an IDC-style cable mount socket (158 series). 3M's 158 series ribbon cable sockets platform is the only known product line in the industry to offer this combination of unique configurations.
