TriQuint's QPA9119 0.5W high-linearity driver amplifier is designed for use in wireless infrastructure where high linearity, medium power, and high efficiency are required. The QPA9119 amplifier is seen as ideal for transceiver line cards in current and next-generation multi-carrier 3G / 4G base stations. One hundred percent RF and DC tested, this InGaP/GaAs HBT achieves high performance over a broad range of frequencies with +44dBm OIP3 and +27.2dBm P1dB while only consuming 130mA quiescent current. QPA9119 integrates an on-chip DC over-voltage and RF over-drive protection. The device's on-chip ESD protection enables the amplifier to have a very robust Class1C HBM ESD rating. The 869-960MHz QPA9119-PCB900 and the 2110–2140MHz QPA9119-PCB2140 evaluation boards are also available to help designers evaluate the features of the QPA9119 0.5W high-linearity driver amplifier. Applications include repeaters / DAS, mobile infrastructure, defence comms and general-purpose wireless systems.
