iNRCORE has launched its latest innovation with a new series of 1KW planar transformers, PL105xx, engineered for the most rigorous environments across military, aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Engineered for outstanding performance and reliability, the new 1KW planar transformers deliver up to 1000W of output power, supporting the high demands of mission-critical systems. Their ultra-low-profile design, with a maximum height of just 19.5mm, permits for seamless integration into space-constrained applications. Optimised for high-frequency operation at 700kHz, these transformers provide efficient power delivery in high-speed systems.

Designed to withstand extreme conditions, the transformers operate reliably across a broad temperature range from -55C to +130C. Their ruggedised construction meets the durability requirements of military and aerospace platforms, with space-qualified variants available that comply with Mil-Std 981 Class S standards.

For automotive applications, the new series is designed to meet AEC-Q200, ensuring consistent performance and reliability in automotive environments. Flexible lead options – including tin-lead and lead-free (SnPb) finishes – meet diverse manufacturing needs.

Supporting a wide array of power topologies, including Forward, Push-Pull, Half-Bridge, and Full-Bridge configurations, the transformers accept input voltages from 100–200VDC (Forward and Push-Pull) and 100–400VDC (Half-Bridge and Full-Bridge), with adjustable output voltage from 12–48VDC. Safety and reliability are ensured by reinforced 3000VAC isolation from primary to secondary and core, as well as 500VAC isolation from secondary to core, all within a compact 49mm x 40mm footprint.

“We are proud to introduce this advanced range of planar transformers,” said Bob Jones, director of Sales at iNRCORE. “This product launch reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, high-reliability solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers across critical industries.”

These new planar transformers are now available for order, with customisable options to meet specific project requirements.
