Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the DA14535 SmartBond TINY SoC from Renesas Electronics. The low-power, cost-effective device is one of the industry's smallest and most power-efficient Bluetooth 5.3 SoCs, allowing new classes of IoT devices, including the growing market for connected medical products.

The SoC achieves a low system cost through high-level integration. The device is based on a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU with a complete set of analogue and digital peripherals and incorporates a 2.4GHz transceiver in a minuscule form factor of just 2.2mm × 3mm. By adding just six external passives, a crystal oscillator, a power source, and a 2.4GHz antenna, designers can construct a complete Bluetooth Low Energy system for applications such as asset tracking, proximity tags, wireless sensor nodes, wearables, medical devices, HID, industrial appliances, and more.

The company also stocks the DA14535MOD SmartBond TINY BLE 5.3 module, based on the DA14535 SoC. The low-power module is globally certified and features an integrated 1Mbit NOR Flash, a 32MHz XTAL, and a printed antenna, facilitating a faster time to market at reduced development costs.

The DA14535 SmartBond TINY development kits, also available at Mouser, allow rapid demonstration and evaluation of the DA14535 SoC and are available in USB and Pro versions. The DA14535 USB kit is a small, portable USB board with Bluetooth Low Energy technology, one mikroBUS connector, 2Mbits of SPI flash, and an onboard DA14535 SoC. The DA14535 Pro kit includes a motherboard, a daughterboard with the DA14535 SoC, and a mini-USB cable. The kit's extensive features include two mikroBUS header interfaces, Arduino Uno compatibility, and onboard 2Mbit SPI data flash. The DA14535 Pro kit enables users to perform RF measurements using an embedded printed antenna and SMA connector capability.
