65W USB-C medical-grade wall mount power adapters

TRUMPower has released its TMW65CU and TMW65CI wall mount power adapters to support the growing trend of devices utilising USB-C technology, with fixed and interchangeable AC plug options available. The TMW65CU features a foldable, fixed US AC plug to accommodate more compact travel needs within North America. The TMW65CI comes as a main body only but offers a wide range of options for interchangeable AC plugs, making it ideal for those travelling across different regions of the world. The power supplies are approved to the latest medical and ITE standards, providing flexibility for use in applications across both industrial and medical fields.

The 65W power adapters feature a single USB Type-C output port on the main body and can provide up to 3.25A of Power Delivery at output voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V DC. The standard colour is white, and black-coloured adapters can be ordered upon request. The power supplies are highly reliable with an MTBF of 300,000 hours minimum, calculated per Telcordia SR-332 at full load and 25C ambient temperature. They are designed to operate at altitudes up to 5,000 meters and temperatures between -20C and +60C ambient, while derating linearly from 100% load at +40C to 50% load at +60C.

The TMW65CU and TMW65CI series are approved for the latest medical standards, including UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 (Edition 3.2), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 (2021), and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1 (2022). Further, the power adapter series is approved to the latest ITE standards of UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 (3rd Edition). The power adapters comply with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 (Edition 4.1) EMC and immunity standards, including EN 55011, EN 55032 class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11.
