Unique Intelligent Modular SiC inverter platform now available

Rhopoint Components has announced the availability of the Cissoid CMT-PLA3SB12340A SiC MOSFET Intelligent Power Module.

Applications include power systems for EVs such as cars, buses, trucks and heavy-duty industrial plant, e-boats, e-aviation and industrial motor control.

CISSOID has been a leader in power semiconductor solutions since 2011, providing multi-phase, high-current power switching modules, motor control systems and software across various power needs.

Three-phase inverter with anti-parallel diodes
Drain-to-source breakdown voltage of 1200V
Max continuous current of 340A/260A at Tc=25C/90C
Low on resistance of 3.25mΩ typical
Junction temperature: -40C to +175C

The unique module has an open-source design, enabling developers to customise it to meet their needs. Reference designs and bench-top or on-board packaging are available to shorten new product development lead-times. The SiC inverter platform is based on a suite of hardware and software products, including a SiC Intelligent Power Module, an Inverter Control Module and Functionally Safe E-Motor Control Hardware and Software from Intel Automotive Solutions.
