Bourns, Inc. has extended its PEC11J Incremental Encoder product series, adding capabilities that increase the device’s rotational life. Designers can now order PEC11J Encoders with a 24-pulse-per-360-degree rotation option and a no-detent option. The rotational pulses feature fulfils the measurement needs in a growing range of customer applications, while the no-detent option delivers smoother, more continuous movement for applications that require precise, incremental adjustments.
The advanced features designed into the series remain available, including its IP40 rating, 100,000 rotational cycle rating and the -10C to +70C operating temperature range. Further value-added features include an optional momentary switch function with standard and high actuation force capabilities, allowing for ease of adaptation to application-specific needs and different environments – all in a rugged, compact surface-mount package. The combination of new and existing features and options available with Bourns PEC11J Encoders makes them especially beneficial motion measurement solutions for applications such as professional audio equipment, lighting consoles, white goods, non-critical medical and diagnostic equipment, test and measurement equipment, and industrial automation controls.
The Bourns Model PEC11J Series Incremental Encoders product extension is available now and is RoHS compliant.
