Compact and environmentally-sealed circular power connector series available now

Several popular environmentally-sealed circular power connector series from Bulgin’s Buccaneer range are now available from stock through Powell Electronics.

The Standard Buccaneer range is a range of waterproof connectors. IP68 and IP69K rated, these power connectors are ideal for various industrial, automotive and marine markets. The Mini Buccaneer product range ensures reliable power connections with up to 250V or 10A. The models in this series benefit from secure screw locks and IP68 protection and have already proven themselves in many demanding marine and industrial applications.

High-power 900 Series Buccaneer connectors can have up to 32A, 600V AC/DC ratings. Sealed up to IP68 and IP69K, the series features a secure screw thread lock to ensure robust high voltage connections. Carrying UL, CSA and VDE approvals, these devices are ideal for harsh environment applications needing dust and waterproof connections for single or three-phase power distribution.

Further technical details of the Standard Buccaneer range include a 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 12 and 25 contact design, seven available body styles (flex cable, inline cable, panel mount (front), panel mount (rear), PCB mount, bulkhead and flange mount), positive locating keyways prevent mis-mating. Mini Buccaneer components benefit from versatile contact options (2, 3, 4, or 6-contact screw terminal inserts and 3 or 8-contact solder/crimp inserts), multiple body styles (flex, inline, panel (two styles), panel side entry options), positive locating keyways preventing mis-mating and a broad range of cable acceptance from 3.5mm to 9mm. High-power 900 Series Buccaneer connectors feature a 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 10 contact design, ‘scoop proof’ contacts, a cable acceptance from 7mm to 22mm and positive locating keyways preventing mis-mating.
