With a growing trend of devices using USB Type-C technology, TRUMPower has released its TMW100CU and TMW100CI wall mount adapter series, which has been approved for the latest medical and ITE standards. The wall mount power supplies are available with either a foldable fixed US AC plug or main body only with interchangeable AC plug options. This gives the power adapters flexibility to be employed in multiple countries across various applications.

The power supplies have 2 USB Type-C output ports on the case of the main body, allowing users to charge up to two devices with outputs up to 60W and 40W, respectively. If only one of the receptacles is used, the power supplies can deliver 100W of output power. The power adapters can provide up to 5A Power Delivery at possible output voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20 VCD.

The power adapters have operating temperatures between -20C to +60C ambient while derating linearly from 100% load at +40C to 50% load at +60C. The MTBF of the power supplies is 300,000 hours minimum, calculated per Telcordia SR-332 at full load and 25C ambient. The unit is designed for operation up to 5,000m altitude and has a withstand voltage of 4,000VAC from input to output (2 MOPP).

The TMW100CU and TMW100CI series are approved for the latest medical standards, including IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 (Edition 3.2), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 (2021), and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1 (2022). The power adapter series is also approved to the latest ITE standards of IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 (3rd Edition). The power adapters comply with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 (Edition 4.1) EMC and immunity standards, including EN 55011, EN 55032 class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2 (ESD at ±15 KV air and ±8 KV contact), EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11.
