Switched IEC inlet with EMI filter offers complete circuit protection

27-02-2024 | EMIS | Power

The MF 320 IEC inlet EMC filter available from EMIS enhances EMI immunity of electronic equipment while adding a safety-isolating dual pole switch and dual fusing. Created to suppress any undesirable incoming disturbances on power lines, the device also decreases any system noise reflected onto the mains supply.

The filter satisfies the increasing demands of industrial, medical and ITE equipment to meet EMC regulations. Applications include automation, robotics, motor drives, white goods, monitors, clinical, cosmetic, and patient-use medical equipment and energy meter test systems.

Key features include an input voltage of 250/260VAC @ 50, 60, or 400Hz. The power rating is available in 1A, 3A, 6A, and 10A versions. The operating temperature range covers 25C to +85C. The filter is designed to meet UL 60939-3, CSA 22.2 No. 8-13, and IEC 60939-1&2. Custom-designed versions are available.

The company aims to offer an end-to-end solution to meet industry’s ongoing EMI challenges. Customers are supported by an experienced consulting team, a fully equipped pre-compliance lab and a large safety-certified standard product offering of over 2,500 part numbers produced in its efficient plant.
