High-voltage applications often need high-voltage resistors with high accuracy for voltage division, monitoring, and control. Some applications with more moderate working voltages may experience high voltage surges, which could damage general-purpose chip resistors. Finding a resistor for these needs in stock can be challenging.

Stackpole Electronics' HVCB series of thick film precision high voltage resistors have more than 90 parts in stock in the most popular sizes and values, enabling rapid design and prototyping for high voltage electronics.

The series offers a high precision, low VCR chip resistor with high stability. The series is provided in resistance values from 10K to 50G, in tolerances as low as 0.1% and TCR as low as 25ppm.

This precision high voltage performance is excellent for applications, including high voltage power supplies, voltage dividers, and various medical applications such as patient monitoring, medical imaging, instrumentation, and defibrillators, as well as applications for test and analysis, and data acquisition/communication and monitoring.
