New industrial unmanaged Ethernet switches in ruggedised design

Advantech now supplies the EKI-2000 series of industrial unmanaged Ethernet switches from stock. With no setup needed, its unmanaged Ethernet switches deliver plug-and-play connectivity for Ethernet to fibre communication and have been developed for usage in demanding industrial environments.

The series is housed in super-slim industrial-grade IP30 metal casings, providing high reliability and the ability to be quickly configured to deliver continuous data transmission with the high degree of security demanded by industrial Ethernet communication.

With 12 versions in the product range, many applications are supported. Depending on the model, key features include 12-48VDC power input with -40C to 75C operating temperatures. The series offers DIN-Rail, wall, or rack mount design mounting, in 19" rackmount, 100-240VAC version, AC or DC input. Fast Ethernet or gigabit transmission up to 1000Mbps is supported in single or multimode operation. Also offered is a 2 x 90W PoE version. The series works with any network infrastructure.
