New gen mechanical pushbuttons created with high-grade stainless steel

Schurter expands its momentary pushbutton switch series MSM to include the newest addition, the MSM II. The MSM Metal Line switch family has been employed on the market for over 30 years, attributed to its durability, precision, and overall high quality. The new generation switch stands out even more as it builds on these features while adding more.

Available in 16, 19, 22 and 30mm mounting diameters, the original pushbutton with a microswitch for switching currents from 100mA to 10A is now complemented by the new generation, which sports a subminiature microswitch. The new microswitch supplies a shallower mounting depth for switching currents from 100mA to 3A for SPDT and DPDT circuits. As well as its enhanced design, the new switch offers increased ESD resistance (contact: ±8kV; air: ±15kV), increased impact resistance IK08, and an even wider temperature range from -30C to +85C.

User interface is a growing topic regarding equipment aesthetics and safe operation. The new family has thrived due to its wide selection of elegant options and unrivalled haptic and optical feedback quality. Lighting options include ring, point, or surface area. Select between a single colour or RGB, allowing individual settings and light scenes. All lighted versions are obtainable for a supply voltage of 5, 12, or 24VDC.
