The standalone 'plug and play' Smart Connector is simply inserted between any device with a standard IEC power inlet (IEC 60320 C14) and its power source. As well as the basic functions such as switching on and off and power consumption monitoring, the device and the company's Smart App allow further functions that can be programmed according to the customer's requirements for resource management. By capturing and analysing medical devices' utilisation and usage behaviour, bottlenecks can be identified, operating costs can be reduced, maintenance intervals can be optimised, and resource utilisation can be improved.
