Mouser now stocks the Semtech LoRa LR1121 multi-band transceiver. The device is an ultra-low power, long-range transceiver offering support for terrestrial, ISM band communications and S-Band support for satellite connectivity. The transceiver is excellent for applications requiring compliance with radio standards, including smart meters, asset tracking applications, parking sensors, environmental sensors and home automation.

The multi-band transceiver supports any combination of LoRa, (G)FSK, and long-range FHSS (LR-FHSS) modulations. The transceiver complies with various radio standards, including ETSI EN 300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, ARIB, and Chinese regulatory requirements. The transceiver incorporates an integrated PA regulator supply selector, simplifying dual power +15/+22dBm with a single board implementation (sub-GHz). The transceiver is fully compatible with LoRa Connect SX1261/2/8 devices and the LoRaWAN protocol defined by the LoRa Alliance. Providing a robust cryptographic engine, the transceiver supports AES-128 encryption/decryption-based algorithms.

The LR1121DVK1TxKS development kits support the transceiver. The development kits offer an RF front-end and antennas configured for the global 2.4GHz ISM band and the regional frequencies 868MHz (Europe, LR1121DVK1TBKS), 915MHz (North America, LR1121DVK1TCKS), and 490MHz (China, LR1121DVK1TGKS).
