PREMO has added the KGEA-DH-NFCTS door handler module to its product line. It is a revolutionary product that combines advanced NFC technology with cutting-edge touch-sensing capabilities embedded in a small form factor device. This module has been developed to fulfil the demands of the new DigitalKey technology, which strives to improve the car's connectivity with the smartphone, removing the necessity for a physical key. This innovative module enables users to unlock/lock their vehicles using smartphones and touch sensors on the door handle. It also incorporates a pocket light which reports the positive response of the module to the NFC reading and the touch sensors. This pocket light eases entry to a vehicle in low light conditions by illuminating the area around the door handle with a soft, ambient light.

The operation is very simple. To unlock/lock the doors, you only need to wake up the device by activating the corresponding touch sensor and then holding the smartphone to the door handle. The device will read the DigitalKey from the OEM app, and if it is correct, the module will unlock/lock the door.

The module delivers advanced NFC technology, allowing seamless communication between the smartphone and a vehicle. It also highlights the reliability and effectiveness of its touch sensors in extreme temperature and humidity conditions. As well as its advanced NFC technology and touch-sensing capabilities, the module also provides a range of other benefits that make it stand out from other door handler modules on the market.

A demo Android app is supplied with the module and the CAN matrix. This demo app lets the user test the functionality of this module with no need to develop a mobile app.

The company believes that the module provides a notable step forward in developing door handler modules for vehicles. Its advanced NFC technology, touch-sensing capabilities, and user-friendly design make it a beneficial addition to any vehicle manufacturer's product lineup.
