Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the 883M digital triaxial MEMS accelerometer from Amphenol Wilcoxon. The high-precision sensor delivers comprehensive vibration analysis for condition-based maintenance and fault diagnostics. The MEMS accelerometer is designed for rotating machinery, transmission systems, manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, and other industrial and automation applications needing precise vibration monitoring.
The device features a triaxial accelerometer and temperature sensor for measuring acceleration up to ±16g-peak. The sensor digitally outputs the vibration spectrum, time waveforms, and 15 calculated vibration metrics per axis. With a frequency response range of 2Hz to 5kHz, the accelerometer provides in-depth vibration analysis for detecting anomalies and evaluating the condition of a range of industrial equipment.
The accelerometer is compatible with PLCs, DCSs, SCADA, and HMI displays. The sensor uses the Modbus Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) protocol to provide stable data transmission.
Designed for harsh environments, the 883M Digital Triaxial MEMS Accelerometer features an IP67 rating and an operating temperature range of -20C to +70C. The outputs align with ISO 10816-3 and ISO 20816-3 guidelines for evaluating mechanical vibrations.
