Rubycon complements its range of remarkably compact components with assured high-temperature resistance and long service life. This varies from 3,000 (MXK), 5,000 (VXK), 7,000 (GXK) and 10,000 hours (NXK) at ambient temperatures up to 105C. The Rubycon Snap-In electrolytic capacitors are available now from Rutronik.

Large aluminium electrolytic capacitors are increasingly employed in communications equipment, including servers and communications base stations, in renewable energy sectors such as solar power, and the automotive industry for vehicle chargers. The new snap-in ranges now provide the opportunity for additional miniaturisation and the associated optimisation of the cost structures of these applications.

The rated voltage of the ultra-miniaturised VXK, NXK and MXK (upgrade) series is between 400VDC and 500VDC (for MXK additionally 16-250VDC). For the GXK series this is between 160VDC and 500VDC. Also, the capacitors gain from wide capacitance ranges of 68μF to 1,200μF/330-82000µF (MXK), 68μF to 1,200μF (VXK); 82μF to 3,900μF (GXK); and 120μF to 820μF (NXK), respectively.

These products are manufactured under the company's internal maxim to lower environmentally hazardous substances and follow the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) and its amendments (2015/863/EU).
