URGROUP has announced the availability of the ATOP family of Tunable DWDM transceivers. Created to satisfy increasing customer demand for optical transceivers of high performance, the ATOP 25G Tunable DWDM benefits from a high-density form factor with an extensive tuning range. The range covers 25G and 10G rates, ranging from 10km to 80km.

Created to simplify 5G network deployment and support flexible network management too, this product has been extensively tested and qualified for OEM and Operator clients in a broad variety of 5G RAN applications.

Highlights of the range include multiple data rates, including 25.78Gbps, 24.33Gbps, 10.31Gbps, 10.13Gbps, and 9.83Gbps; 48 C-band channels, full band auto-tuning within four minutes; 10-80km transmission distance via single-mode fibre; max power consumption less than 2.5W; and an extended operating temperature range from -20C to 85C.

With a wide tuning range and automatic tuning, the family is an ideal choice for those operating a large DWDM network with multiple nodes and dynamic network demands. It enables flexible network management by supporting bandwidth changes as needed in Enterprise or Metro networks, and the ATOP Tunable DWDM range also provides substantial long-term cost savings by lowering on-hand network inventory and streamlining spare parts stocking.
