MEMS digital output motion sensor designed for automotive applications

STMicroelectronics AIS25BA MEMS Digital Output Motion Sensor, available now from Mouser, is an ultralow noise, low latency, wide bandwidth, three-axis digital accelerometer with a dedicated time-division multiplexing interface.

The device is intended to address automotive non-safety applications such as wideband active noise control and vibration monitoring. It has a user-selectable full-scale range of ±3.85g to ±7.7g, a TDM interface for the sensor data, and an I2C interface for device configuration.

The Motion Sensor is provided in a compact LGA package and is guaranteed to operate over an extended temperature range from -40C to +125C. This device is AEC-Q100 qualified for use in automotive applications.
