Compact and rugged pressure transmitter for industrial applications

TDK Corporation now offers the compact, rugged B58620F3800B768 AFA pressure transmitter for screw mounting for a broad variety of industrial applications. It is intended for a pressure range of 1 bar to 11 bar and temperatures from -20C to +125C. The dimensions are just 48mm x 27mm x 24mm. The new transmitter provides a high measuring accuracy of ±0.5% FS (full scale) in the temperature range from +20C to +80C.

The piezoresistive pressure transmitter is based on MEMS technology with a tough stainless steel pressure port. It is ideal for pressure measurement of non-freezing media, including fuel, diluted acids or contaminated air. The absolute pressure transmitter provides a 0.4mm diameter pressure port with an M10 thread and is simple to mount. The integrated signal conditioner compensates for non-linearity and temperature errors. It delivers a precise, calibrated analog output signal in the range of 0.5V to 4.5V with high immunity to EMI.

Typical applications comprise food packaging systems, industrial process control, pump monitoring, and pneumatic systems.
