Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. offers a new series of AEC-Q200 qualified, chassis-mount wire-wound resistors aimed at the growing EV market.

Vishay Dale RHA series resistors mount straight onto a chassis to use the heat-sink effect. Providing high reliability, the devices provide a completely welded and moulded construction for total environmental protection and an operating temperature range of -55C to +250C. The resistors will suit as pre-charge and discharge resistors in EVs, as well as voltage dividers in taillights and current limiters in dimming circuits for interior lighting.

The devices provide high power ratings up to 50W in four small package sizes. The resistors' tight tolerance down to ±1%, TCR as low as 20ppm/C, and wide resistance range from 0.1kOhm to 39.2kOhm allow higher accuracy and stability. The series is RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay Green.
