Extensive range of 7" TFT display modules expands customer choice

Review Display Systems (RDS) now offers a comprehensive range of industrial specification, wide aspect ratio 7" TFT display modules.

It can now source, supply and support an extensive line-up of cost-effective, industry-standard 7" TFT display modules ideal for a wide range of industry sectors, applications, and operating environments.

The display modules provide a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and are available in various resolutions, including 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA), 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA) and 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA). In-plane switching (IPS) is offered on some of the display modules, enabling excellent optical performance, highly consistent colour reproduction and wide viewing angles. Long-lifetime LED backlights with brightness specifications from 300cd/m² up to high luminance 1500cd/m² versions are supported. An extended operating temperature range of -30C to +85C is also offered for harsh environments.

A selection of data interfaces includes 24-bit RGB, 6-bit, and 8-bit LVDS and MIPI provide support for a colour palette of up to 16.7 million colours. Interconnect options include FFC and ZIF connectors.

To assist in developing and implementing GUIs, resistive and multi-touch PCap touch solutions are offered.
