Amphenol RF has announced the expansion of its BNC cable assembly series with a unique configuration that uses strain relief boots on each end of the cable. This BNC straight to right-angle plug assembly offers extra reinforcement to the joints to stop damage in applications requiring frequent mating and unmating. The right-angle end of the assembly can be utilised as a space-saving measure in situations where industrial RG-58 is incapable of bending in accordance with the design needs. This assembly is ideal for both industrial and commercial use.
This 50-Ohm BNC cable assembly provides reliable electrical performance up to 4GHz. The BNC connectors on each end give the dependable bayonet mating mechanism and are manufactured employing durable nickel-plated, brass bodies with gold-plated contacts.
Pre-configured BNC assemblies support designs that demand more flexibility for connecting cables within an application. This new configuration adds to a robust portfolio of traditional BNC products while providing a new solution for compact applications. Its bayonet coupling mechanism permits more secure connections in this space.
