New industrial magnets added to growing range

Elesa supplies a wide selection of durable and reliable industrial magnets, now includes new sizes in round and rectangular flat designs as well as application-specific cable fixing magnets. These add to the existing range of standard magnets in different pull forces, styles, sizes, and materials for all kinds of permanent positioning and clamping needs. Generally, they are employed for closure of doors, holding of workpieces, location of jigs or just for temporary paperwork.

The range comprises flat retaining magnets with steel containment body, galvanised or colour lacquered, with a sandwich configuration of the poles, in a brass or steel containment body. This configuration provides maximum permanent power, even with the smallest workpieces.

Different construction materials (ferrite, aluminium nickel cobalt, neodymium iron boron, samarium cobalt) provide a selection of distinct attraction strength, resistance to temperatures (e.g., up to 80C and 200C.) also resistance to corrosion, workability and the possibility of demagnetisation.

These flat magnets are typically fixed in place with glue or grub screws. Other types include cylindrical magnets, unshielded magnets, horseshoe and profile magnets, and accessories such as setting bolts, grub screws, and steel discs with or without adhesive tape.
