SparkFun Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) is a System on Module (SoM) containing processor, memory, eMMC Flash, and supporting power circuitry is available now from Mouser. The design of the CM4 is loosely based on the Raspberry Pi 4, Model B. Main features incorporate a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K, hardware video-decode at up to 4Kp60, and up to 8GB RAM. Furthermore, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, dual camera interfaces, and PCIe Gen 2 x1 interface are incorporated as well. The optional dual-band 2.4/5GHz wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.0 include modular compliance certification. This enables the board to be created into end products with noticeably decreased compliance testing, increasing cost and time to market.

Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board is a companion board for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (supplied separately). This board is intended for use as a development system for Compute Module 4 and an embedded board integrated into end products. The IO board enables the user to produce systems quickly utilising off-the-shelf parts such as HATs and PCIe cards that can include NVMe, SATA, networking, or USB.

The CM4 IO Board includes 5V and 12V power connectors and two USB 2.0 connectors as well as headers for two additional connectors. Onboard real-time clock with back-up battery gives the ability to wake up the module. This board also offers an attractive way to prototype systems utilising CM4.
