Mouser has announced the opening of its new Customer Service Centre building at its corporate headquarters, dedicated completely to customer service and support.

“Mouser has been fortunate to see strong growth over the last several years, and we need more space for more people to provide our signature customer service,” said Coby Kleinjan, vice president of Americas Customer Service and Sales. “The idea is to allow room for additional staffing while boosting efficiency and collaboration. This additional capacity will strengthen our efforts to provide best-in-class customer service across the board.”

The new two-story, 50,000ft2 building, located on its 78-acre campus headquarters in Texas, is created to be energy efficient and can also extend to 100,000 square feet to satisfy demand. The building offers state-of-the-art amenities, inside and outside eating areas with a large parking expansion.

Including the new Customer Service Centre building, the company offers 27 customer support locations set across three continents to provide customer support in local language, time zone and currency. The authorised global distributor offers customers with service and technical support through phone, email, and chat or via its website. The company calls the approach 'glocal' — giving localised service around the globe.

Also accessible through its website, is the company's online Customer Resource Centre allowing customers to easily take advantage of its online purchasing services and tools via a central hub including everything customers require to optimise the purchasing process.

“We are continually assessing and improving our online resources to help buyers and engineers manage their product specifications and purchases,” Kleinjan adds. Customers are able to access and learn how to view or track orders online, ask for technical support and data sheets, or place orders through API or EDI via Order Automation. The simple-to-use digital hub helps its customers get more information for parts quickly and any other assistance they need for purchasing.
