Saelig Company now offers the Boonton PMX40 40GHz RF Power Meter which consolidates the utility of traditional benchtop instrument, the performance and flexibility of modern USB RF power sensors, and the simplicity of a multi-touch display. It employs the great performance and capabilities of the external RTP and CPS families of USB RF power sensors which provide 3ns rise times and 195MHz of video bandwidth. They can make accurate measurements practically independently of signal modulation bandwidth. Up to four USB sensors can be linked for multi-channel power measurements. Independent or synchronised multi-channel measurements of CW, modulated, and pulsed signals give great flexibility in a benchtop unit with no need for PC control. This makes it excellent for employment in ATE/rack-mount setups.

The device's intuitive, multi-touch display allows fast configuration of the sensors, as well as simple access to measurement and analysis tools, giving a standalone solution for capturing, displaying and analysing peak and average RF power in both the time and statistical domains. The meter also includes a test source to confirm sensor operation.

As a benchtop meter, the device offers a standalone solution for capturing, displaying and analysing peak and average RF power in both the time and statistical domains through an intuitive, multi-touch touchscreen display. Connecting a PC adds further software capabilities.
