New unit added to medical power supply family

Delta Electronics has added a 24V 500W output to its MEB Series of enclosed medical power supply for medical applications. The device is available now from Luso Electronics. The MEB-500A24F model is supplied with built-in fan and active PFC. This is added to the 1200W 24V, and 48V power supplies also offered in this family.

With a universal AC input range from 90VAC to 264VAC, the series has a wide operating temperature of -20C to +70C. Further features comprise low leakage current of 0.3mA at single fault condition, Type BF Patient Access Leakage Currents, electric shock protection compliance with 2 x MOPP demands and Power Good signal.

The device is supplied with both medical and ITE safety approvals, incorporating UL/CE/CCC, and CB certification. The product is certified for EMC standards according to EN 55011 for ISM radio-frequency equipment; and, compliance with EN 55032 for ITE radiofrequency equipment. Full compliance with RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863 for environmental protection is incorporated.
