Analog Devices ILTM4691 DC-DC µModule Regulator is a complete 2A, dual-output, switching-mode DC-DC power supply in a tiny 3mm x 4mm x 1.18mm LGA package. Incorporated in the package are the switching controller, inductors, power FETs, and all supporting components. Operating over an input voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V, the device supports two outputs with a programmable output voltage range from 0.5V to 2.5V set by external resistors. The device's high-efficiency design provides up to 2A continuous current on each output. Only bulk input and output capacitors are required.

The device functions in forced continuous mode for low noise pulse-skipping mode or Burst Mode operation for high efficiency at lights loads. The typical buck switching frequency is 2MHz and is able to be synchronised from 1MHz to 3MHz. The device's high switching frequency and a current mode architecture facilitate a very fast transient response to line and load changes with no sacrifice in stability.

Other features incorporate precision run thresholds, a PGOOD signal, thermal shutdown, output overvoltage protection, and output short-circuit protection. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.

Typical application fields include telecom and networking, industrial equipment, PoL regulation, and FPGA, ASIC core supplies.
