Analog Devices LTC3309A Synchronous 6A Step-Down DC-DC Converter features Silent Switcher architecture created to reduce EMI/EMC emissions. These converters are excellent for applications including optical networking, servers, telecom, and DC power systems.

The small, high-efficiency, low-noise, monolithic synchronous converter operates from a 2.25V to 5.5V input supply. This regulator delivers fast transient response with small external components utilising constant frequency, peak current mode control at switching frequencies of up to 3MHz and a minimum on-time as low as 22ns. The IC regulates output voltages as low as 500mV.

The device is offered in a low profile 12-lead 2mm x 2mm x 0.74mm LQFN-12 package with exposed pad for low thermal resistance.
