Mouser has signed a global distribution agreement with SEARAN, a provider of Bluetooth wireless connectivity, with millions of licenses sold for innovative solutions in medical, consumer, and industrial applications.

The product line gives developers the company’s royalty-free SDKs, which support devices from leading semiconductor manufacturers, incorporating Microchip Technology, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Marvell Semiconductor, and Renesas Electronics.

The company's wireless audio player software (Linux or FreeRTOS) and wireless speaker software (FreeRTOS) offers applications that facilitate wireless audio streaming from an audio player to a headset or a speaker via Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) Bluetooth profiles. The wireless headset software gives an application for either Linux or FreeRTOS-based platforms that allows audio streaming and phone calls from a smartphone to a headset via HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles.

The data packet software is an SDK for either Linux or FreeRTOS-based platforms that facilitates data transfer over Bluetooth Low Energy for any device, Bluetooth SPP for Android devices, and iAP for iOS devices with MFI authentication. The SDK is built on the company's ultra-small Bluetooth stack, dotstack, created for low-cost, low-power embedded devices. Bluetooth SIG-compliant and tested, dotstack has a small footprint, is easy to port, and currently runs on most popular platforms and operating systems.
