Texas Instruments UCC21732-Q1 Automotive Single-channel Isolated Gate Drivers are created for SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs with up to 2121VDC operating voltage providing best-in-class dynamic performance, advanced protection features, and robustness. The device features up to ±10A peak source and sink current.

The device incorporates state-of-art protection features, including fast overcurrent and short circuit detection, fault reporting, shunt current sensing support, and active miller clamp. The device also provides input and output side power supply UVLO to optimise SiC and IGBT switching behaviour and robustness.

The isolated analog to PWM sensor enables easier temperature or voltage sensing, increasing the drivers’ versatility further and simplifying the system design effort, size, and cost.

Typical applications include traction inverter for EVs; on-board charger and charging pile; and DC-DC converter for HEV/EVs.
