Vishay Intertechnology has three new Automotive Grade IHLP low profile, high current inductors in the company’s smallest automotive-qualified case size: the 3.3mm x 3.3mm 1212. Created to free space in next-generation ADAS and sensor applications, the Vishay Dale IHLP-1212AZ-5A, IHLP-1212BZ-A1, and IHLP-1212BZ-5A merge high operating temperatures of up to +155C with remarkably low profiles down to 1mm.

The AEC-Q200 qualified devices are optimised for energy storage in DC-DC converters up to 5MHz. They also offer superior attenuation of noise in high current filtering applications up to the SRF of the inductor. With high operating temperatures, the inductors are intended for filtering and DC-DC conversion in ADAS, sensor, and entertainment/navigation systems, as well as noise suppression for medium current filter applications.

Offered in a 100% lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction that decreases buzz to ultra-low levels, the devices provide high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock, and handle high transient current spikes with no saturation. The devices are RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay Green.
