Lattice Semiconductor Corporation offers the availability of performance enhancements with new and improved application reference designs for its sensAI solutions stack. The solutions aid OEMs to develop AI and ML experiences for next-generation smart devices with power consumption being measured in milliwatts. The performance improvements incorporate support for more compact/efficient neural network models and deeper quantisation support to fit larger models for processing higher resolution and faster frames-per-second images in vision applications, producing more accurate Edge AI performance. The new reference designs enable sensAI customers to swiftly and easily produce popular AI experiences, comprising key phrase detection and human face recognition.
