Kyocera Optical Bonded Touch Screen Displays provide an extensive range of touch screen variants that offer enhanced screen performance, high clarity, high contrast, and high colour saturation. These screens are available now from Mouser. These displays use optical bonding technology that fastens the LCD panel to the top layer with a UV curable liquid adhesive. This decreases the internal reflection by up to 70% and removes the air gap observed in standard tape bonded applications.

The optically bonded touch screen displays are extremely reliable and offer enhanced shock resistance. These touch screen displays are supplied in 7'' TFT, 8.4" TFT, 10.4" TFT, and 12.1" XGA TFT with optional on-cell PCAP touch screens. The optically bonded touch screens aid 70000hrs of backlight lifetime with LVDS electrical interfacing.

Typical applications include defence, transportation, marine, medical devices, and outdoor usage.
