Mouser now offers the QPF4219 front end module (FEM) from Qorvo. Designed for IoT systems based on Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), the 2.4GHz FEM provides a compact form factor and integrated matching to reduce layout area in applications such as wireless routers, residential gateways, and access points.

The FEM combines a 2.4GHz power amplifier, regulator, SPDT switch, LNA with bypass mode, and voltage power detector into a single device. The device focuses performance on optimising the PA for a 5V supply voltage by conserving power consumption while sustaining the highest linear output power and exceptional throughput. The device maximises receive sensitivity through a 1.9dB noise figure performance that is constant over a mixture of conditions. The device also incorporates integrated die-level filtering for second and third harmonics as well as 5GHz rejection for DBDC operation.
