Switching controllers flexible design allows one to six-phase configurations

Analog Devices by Linear Technology LTC7852 Switching Controllers offer six-phases and dual output current mode synchronous step-down switching. The device works together with external power train devices such as DrMOS, power blocks or discrete N-channel MOSFETs and associated gate drivers. The device provides a flexible design allowing one, two, three, four, five and six-phase configurations. The device offers a unique feature that improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal. This feature enables the usage of inductors with very low DC winding resistances for maximum efficiency.

Typical applications include computer systems, telecom and datacom systems, and DC power distribution systems.
